The oceans of salt water contain material of the element Earth. The pure elemental form is fresh water for example from a spring in the ground, raining from the sky or condensing out of mist and clouds.
Water is associated with the mystical powers of healing, divination and illusion. Drinking pure water heals the sick and wounds can be cleansed with it. Looking into the water allows the gifted to see other places and even times. The rainbow displays the fascinating beauty hidden in the smallest drops of water. The element Water is related to the Moon and the season of Spring.

Note: 5 ranks of Knowledge (the planes) give you a +1 bonus to the DC for turning fire outsiders, as well as rebuking, commanding and bolstering water outsiders.
For a total time per day of 10 rounds per class level, you can breathe water as if you were affected by the spell Water Breathing. This effect occurs automatically as soon as it applies, lasts until it runs out or is no longer needed, and can operate multiple times per day (up to the total daily limit of rounds). This granted power is a supernatural ability.
